This article will help you know more about FIAT deposit and withdrawal on KuCoin TR.

 

 

1. How Can I Deposit Turkish Lira (TRY)?

Log in to your KuCoin TR account on the mobile app or the webpage, go to the "Wallet" > "Deposit" > “Fiat” > "Turkish Lira (TRY)" page, and then choose the bank you wish to transfer money to. You can deposit TRY using the bank account details shown on the page, using a bank account that is owned by you.

2. What do I need to Know before I Deposit funds?

Please read the following before you deposit funds:

  • You must send Turkish Lira by FAST, Havale or EFT from your bank account opened only in your name.
  • FAST transactions are supported up to 100,000 Turkish Liras. You can also deposit from any bank 24/7 if the amount is equal to or less than 100,000 Turkish Liras.
  • You can deposit from any bank during bank working hours. However, EFT transactions between 08:30 - 17:30 on weekdays are completed on the same day, and deposits made on weekends and holidays are conducted on the first business day.
  • Transfers made by ATM or credit card will not be accepted as it is impossible to confirm the sender's information.
  • The minimum deposit amount is 1 Turkish Liras. You can make your TRY deposits within your limits.

3. What are the Deposit Limits?

4. My TRY Deposit Transaction did not Succeed, What can I do?

  • If your deposit amount is not reflected in your KuCoinTR account within a certain period, please ensure that your bank account is eligible to deposit Turkish Lira into KuCoinTR.
  • Deposits from verified accounts are usually credited to your account within 1 minute. In rare cases, it may take up to 20 minutes.
  • Fund deposited through the same bank will be immediately reflected in your account.
  • Deposits made via FAST for amounts of 100,000 Turkish Lira or less will be immediately reflected in your account. Deposit requests exceeding 100,000 Turkish Lira from the same bank may also be reflected immediately. However, EFTs deposit, made between 08:30 and 17:30 from Monday to Friday (excluding public holidays), may take a bit more time; EFTs deposit, made out of banking hours will be reflected on the following business day.
  • You can only deposit Turkish Lira into your KuCoinTR account from a bank account belongs to you. If the deposited amount has been returned to your bank account, it may be because the TCKN in your bank account does not match the TCKN in your KuCoinTR account.
  • Deposits may be rejected for other reasons. KuCoin TR reserves the right to reject deposits. In such cases, you can check the reason for rejection in your transaction history or email.

5. How can I Withdraw Turkish Lira (TRY)?

Log in to your KuCoin TR account on the mobile app or the webpage, go to the "Wallet" > "Withdraw" > “Fiat” > "Turkish Lira (TRY)" page, and then choose the bank you wish to use. Enter your bank account details, input the amount you wish to withdraw, carefully review the information before confirming the transaction, and then click the "Confirm" button to request the withdrawal. Kindly note that withdrawals can only be made to bank accounts which successfully deposited to KuCoin TR previously,

6. What do I need to Know before I Withdraw Funds?

Please note the following before you withdraw funds:

  • You can only withdraw to bank accounts registered in your name.
  • You can withdraw to any bank during bank working hours. However, EFT transactions between 08:30 - 17:30 on weekdays are completed on the same day, and withdrawals made on weekends and holidays are conducted on the first business day.
  • FAST transactions are supported up to 100,000 Turkish Liras. You can also withdraw to any bank 24/7 if the amount is equal to or less than 100,000 Turkish Liras.

8. My Withdrawal in TRY did not Succeed, What can I do?

  • The time required to complete a withdrawal varies depending on your bank and the type of transfer. Withdrawals to the same bank via wire transfer are processed instantly 24/7 (Havale).
  • If your bank supports the FAST option, withdrawals of 100,000 Turkish Lira or less are processed instantly 24/7. 
  • Withdrawals to other banks via EFT are processed on the same day during bank working hours, which are 08:30 to 17:30. Withdrawal requests made on weekends and public holidays will be processed on the next business day.
  • If your bank transfer time exceeds the specified time, it may be due to the intensity of bank transactions. For assistance, you can send an email to destek@kucoin.tr, including your user ID (UID).

 

9. What are the Bank Transfer Mode that We Support?

There are three types of fiat transactions:

  1. FAST (Fonların Anlık ve Sürekli Transferi):
    • Allows customers to wire transfer from any local bank account to any local bank account.
    • Available 24/7.
    • The transaction limit is up to 100,000 TRY.
  2. Havale:
    • Allows customers to wire transfer between different accounts at the same bank.
    • Available 24/7.
    • The transaction limit is set by the user's individual limit set by the bank.
  3. EFT (Elektronik Fon Transferi):
    • Allows customers to wire transfer between accounts at different banks.
    • Available only during banking hours (working days from 08:30 to 17:30).
    • The transaction limit is set by the user's individual limit set by the bank.
